Cayman Islands – List of Directors Available for Inspection

he Companies (Amendment) Law, 2019 published on 8 August 2019 introduced several changes including (1) Information to be included in a Register of Members
(2) Reduction of the filing deadline for any changes to a Company’s Register of Directors and Officers from 60 days to 30 days (3) Publication of the Company’s  Register of Directors and Officers (and where applicable, the current alternative directors) for inspection via a newly introduced s.55A and (4) Increase of fines for failure of a company to maintain, provide information and comply with the notices in beneficial ownership register.

Section 55A of the Companies (Amendment) Law, 2019 has now come into force on 1 October 2019.

‍

As of 1 October 2019, members of the public will be able to visit kiosks in the lobby of the Government Administration Building located at SIX, Cricket Square, George Town, Grand Cayman and view a list of names of the current directors, officers and alternate directors of a company incorporated in the Cayman Islands and a list of names of the current managers of a limited liability company.

Each viewing will need to be done by person and incurs a fee of CI$50.00.

開曼群島-可供查閲董事名冊

2019年8月8日公布的2019年公司（修正）法中新增數項修正條款，包括(1)股東名冊應加入的資料，(2)公司董事及高級職員名冊有任何變更時，申報期限由60日縮減為30日，(3)公布公司董事及高級職員（若適用，另加目前候補董事）名冊，以便依新增第55A條進行檢查，(4)提高公司未留存或提供資料或未遵守最終受益人名冊通知的罰款。

2019年公司（修正）法第55A條已自2019年10月1日起實施。

自2019年10月1日起，公眾可以參觀開曼群島政府行政大樓（設址於SIX,Cricket Square, George Town, Grand Cayman）大廳中的公共資訊機，查看設於開曼群島的公司的現任董事、高級職員及候補董事名單，以及有限責任公司的現任經理人名單。

每次查看必須由人員完成，並收取開曼幣50元費用。
