Cayman Ongoing Beneficial Ownership Obligations

The Cayman Islands Government has on 25 October 2021 sent a reminder on the Ongoing Beneficial Ownership Obligations of the Companies, Limited Lability Companies and Limited Liability Partnerships to file adequate, accurate and up-todate beneficial ownership information within 30 days of any changes.

This is in keeping with Part XVIIA of the Companies Act; Part 12 of the Limited Liability Companies Act; Part 8 of the Limited Liability Partnership Act; and the Regulations made under those acts.

Between October 2020 and September 2021, the Registrar imposed more than 300 administrative fines for breaches.

If your Company has yet to provide any such requested information, you are strongly advised to contact your relationship manager to attend to this.

開曼群島政府已於2021年10月25日發出提醒函，說明有限責任公司及有限責任合夥公司持續存在的最終受益人義務，公司必須在任何資料變更發生後30日內，提交充分、確實且最新的最終受益人資料。

此舉符合公司法第十七A篇、有限責任公司法第12篇、有限責任合夥公司法第8篇、以及依上述各法所制定的各項規章的規定。

於2020年10月至2021年9月的期間，註冊處即對違規行為處以300多筆行政罰款。
